Christ-centered Leadership Formation
Scholar-practitioner with over 25 years of leadership experience in Christian education, pastoring, church planting, and cross-cultural ministry. PhD in Cultural Foundations of Education with a focus on Christ-centered leadership development and discipleship. Committed to equipping spiritually mature, biblically grounded, and culturally engaged leaders for the Church and nonprofit sectors.
With a vision for leadership, education, culture, critical thinking, and diverse communities, my book, Christ-centered Education: Post-critical Christian Pedagogy explores ways to build culture from timeless principles, while allowing teachers to lead from who they are, and students to make choices for growth as the next generation of leaders.
Serving as an Adjunct Professor at Grace College & Seminary, I teach courses in theology, intercultural studies, and Bible to undergraduate and graduate students. I have a Master of Divinity from Trinity Evangelical Divinity School and a Bachelor of Arts in Bible and Theological Studies from Wheaton College. I am grateful for the 10 years of experience as a Chinese and Bible Teacher at Cuyahoga Valley Christian Academy. I am fluent in Mandarin Chinese and an intermediate -mid Spanish speaker. I have an Ohio teaching license and certification in teaching and postsecondary education.
As a coach, I am interested in helping clients succeed in professional development and personal growth.
